Descend into a deadly dungeon, fight monsters, find loot, and recover the legendary Amulet of Yendor. This adaptation of the 1980s ASCII classic that gave the roguelike genre its name is streamlined for more accessible play on modern devices. Choose ASCII or graphical tiles, accompanied by atmospheric sound and music. Available on desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

Touchscreen and desktop controls

On a touchscreen, swipe to move, pinch to zoom, and drag to pan around the dungeon. You can also use a virtual D-pad, with one-finger controls for zooming and panning. Both portrait and landscape orientations are supported. Access every command through modal menus or use the keyboard on desktop. Quick-action buttons provide access to common commands, including automatic navigation to the exit.

Adjustable difficulty

The original game is difficult and unforgiving. You can disable selected legacy mechanics for a more forgiving experience. The game also adds new items and dungeon features, adjusts item and monster statistics, and removes the hunger mechanic.
